Overview
A Storch, the Carlson way
The Fieseler Fi 156 Storch is one of the best-known short takeoff and landing aircraft ever built, famous for its long-legged landing gear, high wing, and ability to operate from very small fields. The Criquet was Ernie Carlson’s interpretation of that concept at roughly three-quarter scale.
The Criquet seats two in tandem under a high wing and was designed with short-field performance in mind. Carlson completed the prototype around 1999.
The Criquet is presented here as part of Carlson Aircraft history. It is not currently offered as a kit.
